Has anyone ever made a tempered glass? Henry gets mad at receivers with hard looks on their leverage actions, etc.

Click to expand... I'm with you, especially in orange and blue. I left the pink one because I'd rather have my wife carry a pink gun than none at all. Her only criteria was "pocketable and pink" when we shopped for her EDC. My only condition was that he trains with whatever he chooses and sticks to it. It wasn't my first choice for her, but then again, at least she has something to wear.

I'm thinking of selling a G17 locally which is pretty colorful with matching RMRs and lots of aftermarket goodies...

My favorite is Olive Drab. I have a Glock 17 OD Gen 3. I plan to add Battlefield Green.

Leave all the pictures. I am in the process of figuring out what color I want my 43x frame to be in. That helps!

This is an older thread, you may not get a reply and you may be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread. I don't think the Glock 42 gets enough credit for what it is, which is probably the BEST 380 pistol for concealed carry.

Merry Christmas To Me

I have my 42 for light summer wear. I had an LCP before and really didn't like shooting at the range.....it wasn't comfortable to shoot and I couldn't hit squats with it. My 42 is much more comfortable and my accuracy has greatly improved.

Hpclayto said: Saying something is best is never true because different people have different needs. Click to expand... Right. I guess I'm just being very subjective based on my personal feelings. I will rephrase my statement and just say that the Glock 42 is second to none when it comes to .380 for concealed carry.

I would say the 42 is my best .380. Enjoy the photo shoot and I got it for wearing light clothes in shorts etc. Never had any problems with it.

I'll throw this into the mix for those of you who may have recorded your first GSSF match before 1995.

Best Glock Triggers [hands On Tested]

After surgery or injury, there may be times in your life that require healing. At this point the minimal recoil/weight of the Glock 42 becomes a blessing. Maybe it's not how fancy a gun you own, but what your body allows you to carry and shoot well. It is at this delicate point that 42 September.

I jump into the bunker and put on my fireproof gear... but first I'll say, each to his own. 42 is a very good gun. But compare 42 to 365. 365 is a bit taller, 42 is a bit longer. The 365 is very slightly wider. The 365 weighs 4oz more than the 42 but is 9mm and the minimum mag is 10 vs 6. I have both and am in a pinch to carry the 42 and I am not young. Even though I have a bit of arthritis in my shooting hand, I often shoot nines and see if the 43 or 365 is comfortable for me to shoot all day. And the stand, although I know some have problems with stronger springs. Maybe the 42 is over the 365/43 for pocket carry because of the extra 4 ounces on the 365, but there are plenty of 26, 27, 33 pockets out there and they weigh about 10 ounces more.

I love my G42 but the P365-380 shoots flatter, very accurate, easier to hold and holds more ammo. It's my wife's outfit and she likes it.

I rarely carry the 42, but I carry it in my jacket pocket or jeans in my Alabama holster. I mainly carry IWB G26 or P365X. I occasionally sprinkle in the other two weapons.

Rox said: But, if not, you have to try. Click to expand... The ballistic difference between the two is the main reason I went with the 43. That being said, a 43 with 124hp is a bit crazy for some people. I wear 19 more than 43.

However, I tried the Sig V-Crown holster with no problems. I also use some Pearce +1 extensions and MagGuts+1 to keep the catch small.

Anyone Carry A Glock With An Aftermarket Slide?

People's needs and preferences differ. By most accounts the G42 is fun to shoot in .380, but to me it is too big for its caliber and capacity. If I wanted to try wearing a G42 or something similar in size, I'd take one of the small 9s. Just my personal preference; not saying you or anyone else should.

I prefer to carry it in my pocket and the G42 is too big for that in all my women's pants and jeans pockets. I am a small woman. The only reason I want a .380 is because they are available in small, true pocket pistols.
